OCTOBER !!

Holy cow !  Where did the summer go.  We have closed the office here at the resort and it is pay on you honor / self check in until the 15th of October when we will close for good.

We have been very busy !

We went over to the Montana Idaho border and rode the trail of the Hiawatha.  This is 17 miles of rail trail that used to be the famous Hiawatha Railroad.  There are 7 tunnels and 9 tressels and the mountain views were incredible.  The first tunnel is 1.7 miles long and it curves.  Can you say...... you cant see your hand in front of your face it is so dark in there.  Lights were a must !  We rode it with our Friends Howard and Carly.

We were literally riding in the clouds at times...........

Ahhhhhhh, the scenery !

After our ride we celebrated our success at the City Limits Pub in Wallace Idaho..........

A $10 sample of all there beers hit the spot !  Great food too !

Love the signs on this wall !

We also did another Jeep Run with the Skyliners Jeep club.  The trails we went on were only a few miles from the resort and they were awesome.  Again, the views were incredible.........

Here we are heading up into the mountians.........

This cabin was deep in the woods and was one of the original settlers cabins.  Although you cant see it from this pic, it is buried in the woods.  We were parked right next to it and did not know it was there !

The views !

Jeep Mama !

More views !

It was worse than this looks.  Mud everywhere !  Nothing $7 at the spray wash didn't fix !

Turns out after talking to one of the guys in the Jeep club, he is a pilot and pretty much owns my dream airplane.  He called me up and asked me if I wanted to punch holes in the sky and scout some jeep trails from the air......................

Dream Machine !

Airborne !

Flat head river...................

The dam.................

The RV Resort from the air.............

And I will leave you with this !

More to come !!

Note:  We booked our Airfare to head back to the Detroit for the Holidays.  Looks like we will arrive on the 14th and head back to Texas on the 29th.  Hope to make time to see everyone !

MORE TO COME !!
